Chocolate Puppy Chow
Easy and delicious peanut butter & chocolate puppy chow
Equipment
- 1 sheet pan
- 1 large mixing bowl
- 1 small mixing bowl
- 1 gallon size freezer bag
Ingredients
- 12 oz 1 box of Chex rice cereal
- 2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
- .5 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 box chocolate fudge brown mix
Instructions
- Pour the entire box of Chex cereal into your large mixing bowl
- Put the chocolate chips in your small mixing bowl and microwave on 30 second increments until half way melted
- Once the chocolate is half way melted, add the peanut butter and continue to microwave until both are full melted.
- Stir the chocolate and peanut butter together and pour over your bowl of Chex cereal
- Mix together until the cereal is completely covered in chocolate
- Put half of your fudge brownie mix into a gallon size ziplock bag
- In small increments, pour some of your chex cereal into the bag and shake it up.
- Scoop the cereal out and place on a sheet pan
- Repeat this step of pouring small amounts of the cereal into the ziplock bag and shaking it, until all the cereal has been tossed in the powder
- Leave the cereal on your baking sheet until it is completely dry (about an hour) and serve!
